Last updated: June 20, 2026

What this does

The General Ledger shows every posting to an account, line by line. The Subledger lists the accounts themselves. Use them to see exactly what made up a figure.

Open them

Go to Menu > Finance > Explorer > General Ledger (or Subledger).

General Ledger

  1. Open General Ledger.
  2. Set the Period begin and Period end, tick Include draft if needed, and Search.
  3. For each account you see Date, Description, Debit, Credit and a running Balance.
  4. Click a ledger to drill into its detail.
