What this is
Cloudby is built to fit your business, not the other way round. A handful of tools let you shape it to how you actually work, without any coding. They live under Settings.
The ways you can customise
- Custom fields. Add your own fields to records such as customers, vendors, employees and sales documents. They appear under a Details section, so you can capture exactly what your business needs.
- Document templates. Design how your printed and PDF documents look, from invoices to delivery notes.
- Document numbering. Set the reference format for each kind of document, so your numbering matches how your business expects to read it.
- Configuration presets. Apply a ready-made pack of settings for your country in one go, instead of setting everything up by hand.
- User groups. Decide what each role can see and do, so people get the right access.
Why it matters
These tools are why two businesses on the same Cloudby can feel quite different. Set them up once to match how you work, and every screen and document follows suit.
Good to know. Most customisation is admin work. If you cannot reach these settings, ask whoever manages your Cloudby account.
