What this is
Production turns components into finished goods. It plans what to make from your orders, reserves the parts, runs the build through your workshop, and puts the finished item into stock. Open it from Menu > Production.
What is inside
- Manufacture Order. The plan for what to make, usually from a sales order.
- Batch Order. The actual build, routed through your stations.
- BOM Planner Advanced. Works out the components a plan needs.
- Settings > Stations. The work stations a build moves through.
How it fits together
Production builds on the Bill of Materials you set up in Inventory: the recipe says what goes in, the manufacture order plans the quantity, and the batch order consumes the inputs and yields the output, updating stock as it goes.
