Run a batch order

Last updated: June 20, 2026

What this does

A batch order is the build itself. It routes the work through your stations, consumes the input components and records the finished output back into stock.

Open Batch Order

Go to Menu > Production > Batch Order, or generate one from a manufacture order.

The tabs

  • Process. The route, assigning each step to a station.
  • Input. The raw materials consumed, with quantities taken and returned.
  • Output. The finished items produced.
  • Completion. Closing the build.

Steps

  1. Set the Schedule Start and Due Complete, and the Location.
  2. Lay out the Process route across your stations.
  3. Record Input as components are used and Output as items are made.
  4. Complete the batch. Stock is updated: components come out, finished goods go in, and the cost rolls up.
Stations. Set up your work stations under Settings > Stations first, so the process route has somewhere to send each step.
