What this is
Payroll turns your people and their pay rules into a monthly run: it calculates earnings, deductions and statutory contributions, produces payslips, and generates the files you submit to LHDN and PERKESO. Open it from Menu > Payroll.
What is inside
- Payroll. The batch run for a pay period.
- Forms. The statutory files (PCB, SOCSO, EIS) generated from a run.
- Settings > Payroll Items. The earnings, deductions and contributions you pay.
How it fits together
You set up pay items once and configure each person on their Payroll tab in HR. Each month you generate a batch, review payslips, complete it (which posts to Finance), then generate the statutory files. Cloudby applies the Malaysian rules for EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB for you.
Good to know. Pay only reaches your accounts when a batch is Completed. A draft run you are still checking never touches your books.
