Sales & Purchase reports

Last updated: June 20, 2026

The sales and purchase reports are the performance and relationship view of trading: how much you are selling and buying, to and from whom, how well it is being collected and paid, and which products and partners matter most. They share the report controls and the matrix engine, so comparison is built in.

What you will learn
  • The sales report families
  • The purchase report families

Sales reports

  • Volume – orders and invoices over a period, by customer, product or category.
  • Performance – matrix views of product performance and customer behaviour, crossing what sells against when and to whom.
  • Collection – receivables ageing, showing what is overdue and by how long.

Purchase reports

  • Volume – orders and invoices by vendor, product or category.
  • Spend – where the money goes, for negotiation and budgeting.
  • Vendor statements and payables ageing – what you owe each supplier and when it falls due.

The ageing reports on both sides answer the cash-flow question, who owes you and whom you owe, while the matrix and performance reports answer the strategy question, what and who to focus on.
