What this does
A price list gives chosen customers their own pricing: either a discount off your list price, or a fixed new price per item. It then applies automatically when you quote or invoice them.
Open Price List
Go to Menu > Customer > Pricelist and click Create.
The tabs
- Main. Name the list and choose how it prices.
- Prices. The per-item prices or discounts.
- Categories. Apply it to whole product categories at once.
- Customers. The customers this list applies to.
Steps
- On Main, set the Name and pick a Pricing Mode: Discount (a percentage off list) or New Sales Price (a fixed price you set).
- On Prices, enter the items and their discount or price.
- On Customers (or Categories), choose who the list applies to.
- Confirm. The pricing now flows onto their quotations and orders automatically.
Good to know. Pricing Mode decides the whole list. Discount keeps you tied to your list price (a 10% list rise carries through); New Sales Price fixes the number until you change it.
