Overview
The top navigation bar opens a panel when you click a module instead of showing a menu on hover. Only one panel is open at a time, clicking a different module or clicking outside the panel closes it, and pressing Escape does the same. Inside a panel, items are grouped by column, so a module with several settings areas and a handful of document types shows all of them at a glance rather than nested several menus deep.
Three densities
Expanded shows every module with a full text label, the most familiar layout. Icons compresses the same bar down to icon-only buttons, useful when screen space is tight. Start replaces the top bar entirely with a persistent module rail down the side and a launcher button, showing the widest amount of content above it. All three read from the same underlying menu, so nothing is missing in any of them, only how it is presented changes. Your choice of density is sticky and follows you across sessions.
Favorites and recents
Favorites are pinned from Jump Search rather than from the navigation panel itself: press the star next to a result in the search palette and it is added to your favorites strip, visible in Start density. Recents are tracked automatically as you move around Cloudby and need no action from you, they simply reflect the pages you have opened most recently.
Switching back
If you prefer the previous navigation bar, a toggle in the profile dropdown menu switches between the classic bar and the new one at any time, per user.
